Two friendly pterodactyls stand together on a rocky cliff edge under a clear sky, looking toward the right side. Standard markers quickly fill the broad wing surfaces and the wide body shapes, but the tiny claws and sharp beak edges demand careful work with a sharpened colored pencil. Slate gray skin tones and sandy beige rock surfaces give the scene a natural prehistoric look. Tell a story about these flying reptiles soaring over ancient landscapes after finishing the coloring project.
Did you spot the tiny claws on the feet of the smaller pterodactyl?
