A cheerful parrot sits on a wooden perch and holds an old-fashioned telephone receiver to its beak while a rotary phone rests nearby on a flat surface. Broad body areas accept swift fills from markers, but the tiny numbers on the dial require a sharp colored pencil. Paint the bird bright green and yellow, make the phone red, and color the perch brown. Children can use the finished artwork to make a funny telephone greeting card for a friend.
