An aardvark wearing round glasses and a large backpack walks outdoors toward a schoolhouse alongside a rabbit carrying a small lunchbox. Broad clothing shapes allow for quick filling with standard markers, but the tiny door knobs and windowpanes need careful attention from a colored pencil. Soft yellow fur works well on the aardvark and bright pink looks cheerful for the rabbit dress. Use the finished colored scene to start a storytelling activity about a first day of classes.
Did you spot the doorknobs on the school entrance?
