A smiling octopus uses several tentacles to play a drum set on the ocean floor, flanked by coral and sea stars beneath floating bubbles. Wax crayons quickly cover the large drum shells, whereas the tiny suction cups on the tentacles need a sharp colored pencil. Paint the octopus purple with bright yellow drumsticks and blue cymbals. Children can tell an underwater musical story about the percussionist during a marine science lesson.
Did you spot the two small starfishes resting on the ocean floor?
