Two hummingbirds hover by a central hibiscus bush featuring large rounded flower petals and pointy green leaves. Broad petal shapes accommodate large felt-tip markers, but the slender stamen threads inside each blossom demand a carefully pointed colored pencil. Try filling the flying birds with shimmering emerald green and bright turquoise while shading the blossoms in deep crimson. Children can cut out the finished birds to paste into a tropical habitat scrapbooking journal.
