An alert falcon perches on a leather glove while a tied hood rests upon a nearby wooden stand. Large wing feathers and glove cuffs welcome generous splashes of pigment, but the skinny jesses and tiny metal buckles demand slow pencil strokes. Try shading the bird with brown and gray tones while coloring the leather gear in warm tan. Cut out the finished falcon artwork to make a medieval heritage display for a history club meeting.
