A busy line of smiling cartoon ants marches along a winding path toward a woven basket, a sandwich, an apple, and a checkered blanket. Tiny legs and antennae need a careful colored pencil point, yet the large apple and big sandwich layers invite bold markers. Try coloring the apple bright red and the blanket squares in alternating blue and white tones. Cut out the finished circular picnic scene to use as a colorful table mat for a spring garden party.
