Yule Log Coloring PageCake With Mushrooms and Holly

A traditional yule log cake rests upon a scalloped plate, decorated with meringue mushrooms and spiky holly leaves with round berries. Large spiral ends on the cake welcome bold markers, but shading the delicate mushroom caps and veined leaves requires a sharp colored pencil. Color the sponge cake in rich brown tones, the mushrooms in creamy white, and the holly leaves in vibrant green with red berries. Cut out the colored dessert to use as a festive decoration on a holiday table setting.
