A child rests soundly beneath a patterned blanket on a bedroom bed, dreaming while Santa Claus and his reindeer fly across a moonlit window filled with stars. Large pillow areas and the big bed frame accept swift sweeps from wide markers, but individual tiny star shapes demand a precise colored pencil tip. Color the night sky deep navy blue, paint Santa's coat bright red, and tint the moon a soft glowing yellow. Use the finished illustration to inspire a bedtime story about Christmas Eve magic.
