Four wooden toy soldiers wearing tall hats and uniforms march in a straight line while pulling a large wheeled drum behind them. Standard wax crayons easily fill the wide hats and jackets, whereas coloring the tiny buttons and rifle straps requires a sharp colored pencil. Paint the soldiers in bright red and blue with shiny gold buttons for a traditional holiday look. Cut out each marching figure along the outline to create a fun puppet show for friends.
