A young boy stands next to a Christmas tree and places a present inside a box labeled toys while an elf watches nearby. Painters can quickly fill the large coat and tree trunk using broad markers, but the tiny heart symbol on the box calls for a sharp colored pencil tip. Try using bright red for the gift ribbons and rich green for the pine tree needles. Mount the finished illustration onto heavy cardstock to create a lovely holiday greeting for a charitable community helper.
