A smiling cartoon fox dressed in a buttoned vest sits upon a fallen log and reads a book labeled stories aloud to a small squirrel and a perched owl. Large areas including the log body accept broad sweeps of paint, while the tiny feather markings on the owl chest call for a pointed colored pencil. Shade the fox fur in bright orange and the vest in deep blue. Frame the completed artwork to decorate a reading corner in a bedroom.
