A cozy cottage features a centered front door, rectangular windows on the lower level, and a smaller square window centered in the triangular roof beneath a chimney. Broad walls accommodate speedy application with fat markers, whereas the tiny round door knob calls for careful pressure from a sharp colored pencil. Paint the roof dark blue, color the wooden door brown, and shade the glowing sun bright yellow. Cut out the finished house to use as a prop during a neighborhood storytelling session.
