A friendly giraffe with spotted neck patches emerges from behind a bold capital letter G that is flanked by two tufts of pointed leaves on the ground. Wide letter strokes accommodate broad watercolor washes easily, but the giraffe's tiny ossicones and ears require precision from a sharpened pencil. Yellow and orange shades bring warmth to the giraffe skin while green fills the leafy grass clumps. Teachers often utilize completed alphabet illustrations to help kindergarteners learn animal names starting with the letter G.
Did you spot the small spots on the giraffe's neck?
