A young girl wears a crown of many tall candles and carries a basket filled with swirled buns and a star biscuit. Broad dress sections accommodate quick strokes from wax pastels, yet the tiny flame tips and narrow basket weave lines require a sharp colored pencil. Color the gown in bright white, paint the bun swirls with golden brown, and shade the flickering flames in yellow and orange. Cut out the finished illustration to make a festive holiday greeting card for a friend.
Did you spot the star-shaped biscuit tucked inside the basket?
