Mary kneels beside a wooden manger holding baby Jesus while Joseph stands nearby holding a shepherd staff and three children dressed as kings present gifts underneath a large overhead star. Wide robes and cloaks invite fast marker sweeps, whereas the tiny jewels on the crowns demand a sharp colored pencil tip. Try using deep purples and reds for the royal garments and soft browns for the wooden manger. Turn the completed artwork into a homemade Christmas greeting card for a relative.
