A symmetrical star mandala displays a circular center surrounded by layered star points, teardrop accents, and a scalloped outer border filled with small rings. Sharp felt-tip pens glide smoothly around the thin inner outlines, but the large scalloped edge allows for fast strokes from broad markers. Colorists can shade alternate points in bright yellow and orange while filling the background border with deep blue. Cut out the finished round design to glue onto the front of a custom greeting card.
