A smiling gymnast in a leotard performs a grand split leap while holding a wand that sends a long ribbon swirling in wide loops around her body. Large sections of the leotard accept fast filling from wide markers, though the intricate ribbons and tiny hair strands demand a sharp colored pencil. Vibrant turquoise and pink shades give the winding ribbon a dynamic metallic sheen as it moves through the air. Mount the completed sports artwork inside a shadowbox frame to decorate a gymnast bedroom wall.
