Two opposing teams of football players crouch in a line on the field under the stadium lights, facing each other before the snap. Wide areas like jerseys and helmets invite rapid coloring from broad wax markers, though the narrow helmet straps demand a sharp colored pencil. Shade each team in contrasting colors to show their rivalry, using red for one side and blue for the other. Cut out the completed scene to paste onto a handmade birthday card for an avid sports fan.
