An elderly woman wearing glasses sits in a large armchair, reading an open storybook to two children who listen eagerly while a cat rests on a pillow. Broad areas like the skirt and chair back invite simple wax markers, whereas the intricate sweater patterns and book text require a sharpened colored pencil. Shade the woman's hair soft gray and color the mug blue. Present the finished picture to a grandparent.
