A smiling elf standing on a wooden step ladder carefully sets a large star atop a pine tree hung with round baubles and string lights. Broad sections of the evergreen boughs invite bold strokes from markers, whereas the miniature string light bulbs call for a sharp colored pencil tip. Try using bright red for the holiday tunic and shimmering gold for the top ornament. Mount the finished holiday artwork on a homemade winter greeting card.
