Several cheerful elves decorate a massive evergreen tree using tall wooden ladders, coiled ropes, twinkling lights, and star-shaped ornaments while wrapped gift boxes wait at the base. Colorists can shade the wide branches with dark green and fill the hanging baubles with bright red, yellow, and blue. A sharp colored pencil works best for the tiny candy canes and thin ropes. Use the finished illustration to tell a holiday story about Santa's workshop.
