Children ride horses and sleighs on a carousel in a snowy town square flanked by streetlamps and winter buildings. Broad roofs and large horse flanks welcome quick sweeps of color, though the tiny snowflake patterns require a sharp colored pencil. Shade the merry-go-round canopy in bright red and paint the horse saddles in gold. Mount the completed illustration onto heavy cardstock to create a lovely holiday greeting for a neighbor.
