A smiling anthropomorphic crayon character stands on a flat sheet of paper, using a smaller marker to sketch a curved rainbow, blooming flowers, and grass tufts. Broad sections of the happy figure accept quick sweeps from standard markers, whereas the tiny petals require careful coloring with a sharp colored pencil. Red, yellow, and blue shades bring the striped shirt and arching bands to life. Cut out the finished illustration to use as a colorful cover decoration for an art portfolio.
