A cheerful steam locomotive rolls along a curved track past small pine trees, blowing puffy smoke clouds into the sky. Fat wax crayons easily cover the wide boiler and large wheels, while the tiny window frames need a sharp colored pencil. Paint the engine a bright red and yellow, make the smoke light gray, and shade the distant trees green. Cut out the finished locomotive to use as a colorful bookmark for a favorite railway storybook.
Did you spot the small smiley face inside the passenger car window?
