A tall telescope on a tripod stands upon a grassy hilltop under a glowing crescent moon and several scattered stars. Wide marker tips quickly fill the large optical tube and moon body, whereas the tiny star shapes and ground tufts require a pointed colored pencil. Bright silver paint brings metallic shine to the mounting brackets, while sunny yellow works well for the twinkling stars overhead. Fold the completed artwork down the middle to create a custom greeting card for an aspiring astronomer friend.
