A stitched teddy bear wears a small bow tie while sitting squarely on the floor beside a letter block and a miniature rocking horse. Preschoolers fill the large body sections and big foot soles with standard crayons, whereas the tiny stitches on the patches need a carefully controlled colored pencil tip. Try shading the bear with golden brown, coloring the block red, and painting the bow bright blue. Cut out the finished artwork to attach to a handmade get well greeting card.
