A cheerful marionette puppet dances on a wooden floor, connected by strings to a crossbar above while a small drum and toy horse sit nearby. Soft wax crayons quickly cover the large segments of the shirt and trousers, whereas the thin vertical control strings call for a sharp colored pencil. Paint the jacket bright red, the trousers yellow, and the drum blue with white zigzags. Use the completed scene to tell a make-believe story about a traveling wooden toy theater.
