A friendly griffin stands proudly with folded feathered wings, sharp front talons, and a long tail ending in tufted fur. Large spaces on the furry torso accept heavy wax crayons, while smaller feather tips in the hair tufts benefit from a pointed marker. Paint the curved beak golden yellow, the sleek body tawny brown, and the grand wings snowy white. Cut out the finished mythical beast to create a magical paper puppet for an afternoon play.
