An old-fashioned street lamp stands tall with a glowing candle inside its glass panes, surrounded by a winter holiday scene. Soft wax pastels easily fill the wide lamp pillar and gift boxes, while the tiny spherical ornaments on the wreath demand a sharp colored pencil. Color the candle flame bright yellow and paint the gift bows in deep red. Mount the finished illustration onto heavy cardstock to create a lovely holiday greeting for a neighbor.
Did you spot the two candy canes tucked near the base of the lamp?
