A cheerful long-necked dinosaur stands in profile on a simple ground line with thick outlines and minimal detail. Little hands using jumbo wax crayons will easily fill in the large belly and wide legs, while the tiny toenails invite patience with a sharp pencil. Try painting the massive body in shades of soft green and the underbelly in pale cream. Cut out the finished herbivore to create a tabletop puppet for a prehistoric adventure game.
Did you spot the small toenails on the dinosaur's feet?
