Two adult dalmatians and several playful puppies rest on a fluffy rug before a brick fireplace inside a warm living room with framed pictures and a bookshelf. Large floor spaces and big dog bodies welcome generous washes of marker, while the tiny spots demand slow strokes with a pointed pen. Paint the flames bright orange and the rug a cozy blue. Cut out the finished family group to create a welcoming door sign for a family holiday gathering.
