A cheerful lizard rests upon a heavy stone marked with jagged surface cracks, curling its slender tail upward into a neat spiral. Soft wax crayons glide smoothly across the wide body and massive boulder base, but the tiny curved toes demand a sharpened colored pencil. Emerald green scales paired with a sandy brown rock create a natural palette for the reptile. Youngsters can tell a creative story about the desert creature finding a warm place to rest after finishing the colors.
