A smiling hummingbird hovers in the air with outspread wings, reaching its long beak toward a blooming flower while a single leaf floats underneath. Broad belly areas and large wing sections accept rapid coloring from giant wax crayons, although the tiny flower stamen demands a sharp colored pencil point. Try painting iridescent emerald green along the back and bright pink on the flower petals. Cut out the finished bird and flower to glue onto a spring greeting card.
Did you spot the small leaf floating beneath the hummingbird?
